Our history

In 2006, the founders of Chiringuito EL CRANC (1982), Pepe Navarro Barranquí and his wife Pepa Bañuls, created their second restaurant L’OLLETA located near the artistic village of Altea. The restaurant sits on the scenic seafront surrounded by pine trees, in the old Villa Gadea estate, with spectacular views of the serene beach and the island of L’Illeta, known in our region as ‘illeta’. Today, the new generation, Vicente and Pepa, continue the family legacy running both restaurants with the same vision and passion as their parents.
