In 2006, the founders of Chiringuito EL CRANC (1982), Pepe Navarro Barranquн and his wife Pepa Baсuls, created their second restaurant L'OLLETA located near the artistic village of Altea. The restaurant sits on the scenic seafront surrounded by pine trees, in the old Villa Gadea estate, with spectacular views of the serene beach and the island of L'Olla, known in our region as 'illeta'.
Today, the new generation, Pepa and her brother Vicente, continue the family legacy running both restaurants with the same vision and passion as their parents.In addition to the wide variety of rice dishes, wild seafood locally caught from the port of Altea, salted fish, grilled meats and seasonal salads, we invite you to try one of our star dishes on the menu, and which gives its name to our restaurant as it is found in large quantities on our beach: the Sea Urchin. Known in our region as 'olleta', the sea urchin is a delicacy as exquisite as caviar, with an intense flavor, yet elegant, fresh and with a special texture that will lead you to connect with the depths of the sea.
